This was my entry to the D&AD New Blood Awards 2016. They had a number of different briefs to choose from, I decided to go for the Shutterstock brief.

The brief was to take 3 of the 7 archetypes and create a still or moving image that represented the modern world. I decided to make the whole thing in an isometric perspective as you could see different perspectives of the world we live in, in one illustration. (& I love isometric grids)

This series of prints is to show off issues within todays society, their is a lot of industries that run very unethically and have very low moral stand point. As a designer I wanted to highlight these issues and visualise them, so the viewer could understand the way I portray some the modern world. It's all about perspective, you can see many industries in different lights but using this isometric grid you can see both sides to the spectrum subtly. I wanted to show that the majority of things that one person enjoys, someone or something has had to pay for it to make it so. These are striking pieces but I feel they need to be seen at A0 to get the full grasp of the illustration and the detail within.

My entry was awarded a Wooden Pencil. Below is a link to the competition page.
